A look at the locations where Excel Industries' Technology has been deployed, for effective organic waste management.
Infosys is one among the early adopters of sustainable waste management practices in the country. They have been spear-heading many green initiatives with multiple focus areas including energy, water, emissions and waste. We are glad to have been an early and ongoing partner in this inspiring journey of Infosys.
The food waste generated in the multiple campuses of Infosys is treated within their campuses in their composting and biogas plants. Infosys has composting plants in their Trivandrum, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Bangalore campuses and Excel’s Organic Waste Converter (OWC) machines help convert the food waste to compost. With a collective capacity of 3.5 TPD (tonnes per day), they generate about 1.3 tonnes of organic compost per day, which is bagged and sold.
